*NEW WORK
Exhibited in Chelsea, NY October 2026.
Hannah Nutter is a Brooklyn-based multidisciplinary artist working across collage, text, and performance. These paintings begin as analog collage on paper, with images cut from children’s science books, vintage magazines, and found print materials.
This work is about the feeling of Home. The sensation of your inner heart space. It feels like looking at the moon and thinking of someone you love who is far away.

What will you do and who will you become when everything has been lost?
Will you run toward the fight, or away from it?
She can create Something from Nothing. She is made of Star Stuff, and Beginnings, and she is everywhere you go all the time.

I’ll tell you a secret: it’s not your fault.
This work is about the impulse toward self flagellation after loss.
Let go of the whip. And witness your greatness which was always the most visible thing, no matter what they said to your face.
